Tributes have been paid to a "caring, beautiful" mum who was discovered dead inside an old ambulance in a quiet street."

Gila Brown, 27, was sadly pronounced dead on Thursday (Aug 15) at around 9.30am after her body was found near a children's play area.

Her body was found in a privately owned decommissioned ambulance, which was parked in Gorton Street, Blackpool, Lancs.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug in connection with her death. They have since been bailed, Lancashire Police said.

A force spokesman said her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Her sisters, Katie, Carly and Jordan, have now shared an emotional tribute to Gila, who they called "a loving mum, sister, daughter, auntie, cousin and loyal friend."

Katie said: "Just so people know my sister has a name. She is Gila Brown and she was my beautiful my little sister."

"She was also a daughter, auntie, mother and a cousin. She was an amazing person despite her demons that she was facing."

"She was so loving, caring, beautiful and smart. She was loved by so many, she didn't deserve any of this."

"I would just like people to show some respect and share this and get her picture and her name around."

The roads close to where Gila's body was found were cordoned off while police and CSI investigated her cause of death.

But officers have since confirmed they have found no suggestion of foul play.
