This is the terrifying moment a woman was spun upside down when her arm was caught on a juice extractor.

The worker was walking through a narrow gap between the wall and the machine - used for crushing sugarcane to make drinks - when her jacket sleeve jammed in the moving roller in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, on August 14.

CCTV footage shows her clothes spinning along with her right arm twisting. She was then lifted into the air as the strong pull caused her to overturn.

A man quickly rushed to the machine to turn it off and helped free the woman from the tangled clothes.

She did not sustain any serious injuries from the incident.

Sugarcane juice is popular across Southeast Asia. The drink is made by extracting juice from fresh sugarcane stalks. The stalks are washed, peeled, and cut into smaller pieces before being crushed in a juicer or manual press.

The juice can be strained to remove any fibrous particles and optionally flavored with lemon, lime, or ginger. The juice is best served fresh and chilled.
