Sheriff removes possum stuck under car hood
Highway police removed a possum stuck under a car hood in Oklahoma, USA.
Trooper Ryan Griffith was tasked with retrieving a vehicle that had been parked in a lot in Oklahoma City since December.
However, upon lifting the bonnet to access the engine, he was met with a possum that had made itself at home in the compartment.
Footage taken on August 28 shows the officer attempting to coax the possum out. After a brief struggle, he managed to grasp it by its tail, gently pulling it out from its makeshift shelter.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol assured that both the trooper and the possum emerged from the encounter unscathed. The possum was released unharmed over a nearby fence.
