This is the shocking moment shoppers looted stores during a mall's discount flash sale in Pakistan.

Hundreds of customers gathered outside the Dream Bazaar in Karachi for the grand opening promotions on clothes and homeware accessories.

But chaos ensued when a mob formed among the crowd holding long sticks and forced their way into the stores on August 30.

Footage shows the locals marching towards the entrance and attacking mall security. They allegedly stole clothes and accessories from the stores.

The mall management later said in a statement: ‘The managers of the building and the shop owners didn't expect such chaos.'

The store opened at 3 pm and only thirty minutes later, almost all the items were gone.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
