USA: Downtown Los Angeles LAFD Pursues Arson Suspect Down 101 Freeway
Los Angeles, United States - September 05, 2024
09/05/2024 02:40 am (GMT-0700) | DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – LAFD Engine 3 responded to reports of a rubbish fire on the southbound 101 Freeway, just north of the Broadway exit.
When crews arrived at the scene, they located a subject actively starting fires who proceeded to threaten the crew and walked away.
LAFD requested backup from LAPD and CHP and pursued the suspect down the southbound 101 Freeway.
Without further incident, the suspect was eventually taken into custody on the 101, just south of the Alameda Street exit.
