US, Los Angeles: Downtown Los Angeles Fiery Hit-and-Run Crash
Los Angeles, United States - July 04, 2025 07/04/2025 01:54 am GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department and California Highway Patrol officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash on the northbound 110 Freeway near 5th Street. Upon arrival, CHP officers discovered a sedan that had collided with a guardrail and a cement pillar. The vehicle was engulfed in flames. Search efforts revealed no driver in or around the sedan. A pack of Budweiser was found on the ground near the car. LAFD personnel quickly extinguished the fire. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The California Highway Patrol closed the northbound collector road on the 110 Freeway while crews worked to clear the scene.
