STORYLINE:
Selma Knudsen, a Croatian civil engineer, used to work as a commercial coordinator for about four years at the Peljesac Bridge project undertaken by the China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC).
Last year, the Chinese company signed the contract to construct a 6.85-km section of road in Split, the second-largest city of Croatia.
Knudsen decided to join the company again as she has maintained a good relationship with the Chinese colleagues.

"Coming back to CRBC was like finding a family again. It is very enjoyable staying here and working with CRBC really.
This project is very important for Split, because it will let the traffic through the city significantly."
