Rapid Support holds an important conference in Khartoum tomorrow The Rapid Support Forces and Tamazju Armed Movement allied with them will hold an important press conference tomorrow in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum. Tamazuj, one of the armed movements that announced in mid-April last year its joining the Rapid Support Forces in the war it is leading against the Sudanese army, is one of the armed movements that signed the Juba Peace Agreement signed in 2020. The press conference is expected to discuss current political issues and the delivery of humanitarian aid to residents of the capital affected by the war. The conference will also address the efforts of the Rapid Support Forces to protect civilians in areas under their control. The press conference will also discuss the issue of the army’s advance north of the capital, Khartoum, in the Jebel Muya area in Sennar State, and the position of field operations on the ground.
