On October 10 at around 12:11 AM, a traffic accident occurred in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, where an auxiliary police officer was struck by an unlicensed motorcycle that ran a red light and was speeding.

According to a report from the Yiwu Public Security Bureau, the police had received a call that night from a resident reporting reckless street racing in the Nanshan Park area. In response, Officer Zhou from the traffic police division immediately led three auxiliary officers, including Officer Lou, to the scene. During their duty, Officer Lou was unfortunately hit by a speeding, red-light-running motorcycle without a license plate that ignored traffic rules.

After the accident, the injured officer was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Thankfully, after extensive medical efforts, Officer Lou is no longer in critical condition and is under further observation.

The motorcycle driver, Xu, has been apprehended by the police. The case is under investigation, and Xu will face legal consequences for his violations.
