An intense storm swept through New South Wales, Australia.

Footage shows heavy rain, powerful winds, and hailstones battering the streets of Picton on October 14. The Bureau of Meteorology also recorded over 20,000 lightning strikes throughout the day.

Sky News Weather Meteorologist Alison Osbourne reported that hailstones as large as blueberries were observed in the region.

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of New South Wales and Sydney after heavy downpours led to flooding, power outages, and flight delays.
