This is the moment a delivery rider survives after being struck by a Lada in Russia.

The hit-and-run incident took place at the intersection of Dzerzhinsky Street and Lenin Avenue in Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia, on October 11.

Surveillance footage shows the courier on a moped waiting for the traffic light to change.

As the green light signals for the right lane next to him, a bus begins to move while the rider remains stationary, waiting for his green light.

Suddenly, a cherry-red Lada crashes into the bike from behind at full speed, sending him flying to the side with his delivery bag.

After the collision, the courier falls onto the asphalt while the scooter veers off, and the Lada leaves the scene.

The man leaves his delivery bag behind, limps to the sidewalk, and sits down as pedestrians rush over to assist him.

A traffic police car and an ambulance arrived shortly afterward.

Reports indicate that the 28-year-old courier required one-time medical assistance.

Police are currently searching for the driver of the Lada.
