On 17 October, Thursday in Purnia, Bihar, some people were going to the cemetery to attend the funeral and there was no bridge over the river on that way, so people tried to cross the river by making a boat out of bamboo sticks. During this time the boat sank in the river and people somehow swam to the shore.
According to the local sources that a person resident of Bhagtahir village had died. Some people were going to Haripur cemetery to attend his funeral. There is a river on the way to the cemetery over which there is no bridge.

However, everyone on the boat is safe. Police has suddenly arrived in accident location & warned to people's.
