The British singer Liam Payne, 31, died this Wednesday in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo due to "multiple trauma" that caused "internal and external hemorrhage" after falling from the balcony of a third floor in the Casa Sur hotel, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo. This was documented by the Forensic Medical Corps of the Judicial Morgue in the preliminary autopsy report ordered by the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 16, where the cause of the death of the former member of the band One Direction is detailed.
According to what was reported by the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Nation, the body of Liam James Payne was transferred to the Judicial Morgue where thanatologists from the Forensic Medical Corps performed the autopsy between 9:45 p.m. and 11:05 p.m.

The autopsy report submitted to the prosecution and signed by Santiago Maffia Bizzozero and Roberto Víctor Cohen concluded that “the cause of death of Liam James Payne determined macroscopically was multiple trauma, internal and external hemorrhage.”

In addition, it is noted that the doctors requested "complementary studies" of a histopathological, biochemical and toxicological nature in order to "confirm, rectify and/or complement the aforementioned macroscopic conclusions." They also clarified that an analysis of the stomach contents, alcohol and toxins in the blood, vitreous humor, bile, nasal swab and urine was requested to determine alcohol and toxins.

In their medical-legal considerations, the forensic experts reported that the 25 injuries described in the autopsy are compatible with those produced by a fall from a height. They also pointed out that the cranial brain injuries were sufficiently suitable to cause death, while the internal and external hemorrhages in the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs contributed to the mechanism of death.

The forensic experts also estimated that, after analyzing the hands, no defensive injuries were found. On the contrary, they emphasized that all the injuries presented by the body were vital and produced at the same time as each other, and were not They observed injuries that suggest the intervention of third parties.

The prosecution indicated that, due to the position in which the body was left and the injuries from the fall, it is presumed that Payne did not adopt a reflex posture to protect himself and that he could have fallen into a state of semi or total unconsciousness.
