US, Los Angeles: Jurupa Valley Two Acre Wind Driven Fire

10/18/2024 01:45 pm (GMT-0700) | JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. – Location: Mission Boulevard and Crestmore Road In Jurupa Valley.
On October 18th, 2024, at approximately 1:45 p.m., Cal Fire Riverside was dispatched to a wind-driven brush fire in the city of Jurupa Valley.
Fire units arrived and noticed a wind-driven brush fire in a vacant field next to some houses. The wind speeds were pushing at 15 to 20 mph upon arrival, according to Cal Fire Radio traffic.
Firefighters and Cal Fire hand crews knocked down the fire. The Inland Empire was issued red flag fire warnings on Friday due to the winds.
No structures were lost during this fire.
Cal Fire Riverside, Riverside Sheriff's Department and City of Riverside Fire agencies responded to this fire.
