Selfie net snaps plunging father and son into pond
A father and son tried to take a selfie while sitting on a net over a lily pond before it snapped, plunging them into the water.
Footage shows the father Chathas and two-year-old Couga smiling for the camera when their weight caused the webbed selfie spot to give way.
Chathas dropped into the water first followed by the toddler, who was sitting on his lap. Music from the resort was playing in the background.
The pair were cooped out by their family members who were eating lunch with them when the selfie fail happened in Khon Kaen, Thailand on October 27.
Their relative Mike Phanrit, who recorded the video, said: 'The rope was old, and the net had not been changed for a long time. So we can understand why it happened. But we will never sit on one of these again in our lives.'
Chathas and his son were unhurt. They cleaned up before returning to having a meal with their friends and family.
