Helicopters tackle wildfire flames in Turkey
This is the dramatic moment a helicopter tackled wildfire flames in Turkey.
Footage shows the firefighting aircraft dropping water to help extinguish the flames in the active blaze in the Merkezefendi district of Denizli on October 28.
The Denizli fire response has mobilized significant resources, with nine helicopters, 76 fire trucks, heavy machinery, and 939 personnel working to bring the fire under control, which reportedly started on October 24.
Teams are racing to prevent further spread as intense containment operations continue.
The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
Firefighters have successfully contained a wildfire in Kahramanmaras's Onikisubat district. Cooling operations are now underway to prevent flare-ups.
