Suspected shoplifter arrested by Police with Champagne bottle from Marks and Spencer concealed in luggage. Truro Cornwall, UK
A male is apprehended by police officers, Marks and Spencer security staff alerted Street Wardens in Truro City Centre with suspicion of a possible theft. Street Wardens summoned uniformed police officers from Devon and Cornwall police stationed in Truro. A male was searched and a bottle of champagne revealed. Proof of purchase was not furnished. The individual was handcuffed and escorted away under suspicion of theft. The Champagne bottle was handed back to Marks and Spencer's staff who returned the item to the City Center, Lemon Quay, store.
