A Houthi weapon site was obliterated by a U.S. airstrike in Yemen on Saturday night, November 9.

Military officials claimed that the strikes targeted the Iran-backed group's advanced weaponry, which has been used to threaten U.S. and international military and civilian vessels in the strategic Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

The operation involved a coordinated effort between U.S. Air Force and Navy assets, including the advanced F-35C fighter jet.

The U.S. has also carried out a series of strikes against Iranian-linked targets in Syria.

Central Command Commander General Michael Eric Kurilla issued a stern warning, emphasizing that the U.S. would continue defending its personnel and allies against further aggression.
