80 pushups in one minute! Meet the ‘Pushup Man of Punjab’ who’s breaking world records effortlessly
In a remarkable display of strength and endurance, Kuwar Amrit Singh from northern India’s Punjab achieved a new Guinness World Record for the most decline knuckle pushups in one minute, completing 80 pushups.
The record-breaking attempt took place in Batala district on July 4 and was officially approved on November 5.
Visuals showed the incredible moment as Kuwar executed the pushups with his legs elevated on a table while maintaining perfect form, performing each knuckle pushup effortlessly and continuously for a full minute.
Speaking to Newslions, Kuwar Amritbir Singh, hailed as the "All Rounder & Pushup Man of Punjab," revealed his awe-inspiring journey, holding three Guinness World Records and an impressive total of 17 world records. His incredible achievements have earned him the prestigious Karamveer Chakra award, a true testament to his dedication and discipline. Beyond breaking records, Kuwar proudly serves as the brand ambassador for Punjab Police and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Punjab, using his platform to inspire change.
But his impact doesn't stop there. A passionate philanthropist, Kuwar is committed to empowering young athletes and providing fitness equipment to those in need. With big dreams ahead, he’s set on reaching 100 world records and making his mark as an action hero in his upcoming film Sheesha.
