This is the impressive moment a pet cat showed its incredible balance on a curtain rail.

The mischievous feline was spotted atop the horizontal pole in a living room in Jiangsu, China, on November 13.

Footage shows the furry creature attempting to cross the curtain rod. As it carefully ambled along the bar, its paw slipped, causing it to nearly fall. However, it teetered back and forth before managing to cling to the rail and pull itself back to safety.

The filmer said: 'My cat eventually flipped down and landed safely by sliding along the curtain.'
