Mysterious rectangular cloud appears over eastern China, leaving locals baffled
On November 26, in Zibo, Shandong, a bizarre rectangular cloud appeared in the sky, drawing the attention of local residents.
Videos show the cloud resembling a perfectly rectangular sheet of paper, with sharp, distinct edges as it floated and drifted in the sky.
According to Mr. Xiao, a local resident, the sky was very clear at the time, with no airplanes or other objects passing by, and only this cloud was visible. It lasted for over ten minutes before dispersing and disappearing.
The Zibo Meteorological Bureau stated that their staff had never seen such a cloud before. The cloud’s structure appeared partly dense and partly loose, and its altitude was estimated to be around 3,000 metres. Radar on that day did not detect any cloud formations, leading to speculation that this might have been the trace left by some flying object rather than a naturally occurring cloud.
However, due to a lack of specific observational data and further research, the meteorological bureau is unable to determine the exact origin and nature of the cloud.
