In the early hours of November 18, in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, a 3-year-old boy was left alone at home because his mother had to work overtime. After waking up, he ran barefoot into the street to find his family.

The child was only wearing thin autumn clothes and trousers and rushed into the road with cars passing by. The temperature was low at the time, and the boy was shivering from the cold, making it a critical situation.

After discovering the boy, delivery driver Wang Wenjiang immediately stopped his vehicle and called him over to inquire about the situation. After learning that the child was looking for his mother, Wang Wenjiang quickly called 110 to report the incident and stayed at the scene to comfort the child.

Private car owner Yang Cancan also voluntarily stopped when passing by the scene. After understanding the situation, he took the boy into his car to warm him up. Wang Wenjiang had to leave first because he still had orders to deliver, but he exchanged contact information with Yang Cancan.

Yang Cancan continued to take care of the child until the police arrived. After receiving the call, the police quickly arrived, took the boy back to the station, and contacted his mother. The boy was finally safely returned to his mother's side.

The boy's mother expressed her gratitude to Wang Wenjiang and Yang Cancan through the police. The police also presented honorary certificates to the two rescuers to commend their good deeds.
