US, Los Angeles: Apple Valley House Fire Leaves Multiple Injured

Los Angeles, United States - December 01, 2024 12/01/2024 03:29 am (GMT-0800) APPLE VALLEY, Calif. – On Sunday, December 1, 2024, at approximately 3:29 a.m., a residential structure fire was reported at the intersection of Pocono Road and Winona Road. Firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District, Victorville Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters found a residence with heavy smoke and flames spreading to nearby vehicles. Crews requested additional resources to assist with the operation. According to witnesses and neighbors at the scene, a loud “boom “ sound was heard before and during the fire. Multiple victims were transported to Saint Mary’s Medical Center for injuries related to the fire, along with two air ambulances requested for medical transport. At this time, it is unknown how many total injuries there are or the extent of injuries. The Apple Valley Fire Protection District is investigating. More information will be provided when available.
