"I've seen Vampire Diaries 30 times and can identify episodes without watching"
A woman has watched The Vampire Diaries so many times she is able to accurately identify each episode by listening for the first few seconds.
Gretchen Wathier, 30, has been an avid fan of the CW network show since it first aired in 2009.
A high school student at the time, Gretchen fell in love with the show and began re-watching episodes in the week they came out while waiting for the next.
She also watched the DVD sets when the show was on hiatus.
Now, she is able to identify episodes by listening to the first few seconds.
Gretchen, a nurse in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, said: "I wasn't surprised I was able to guess them correctly because I know how well I know the series."
"Especially with the first few seasons, which I have watched about 30 times."
Gretchen also named her daughter Elena after the main character, so she now watches the show with her husband.
She said: "He figured he should know what our daughter is named after!"
