A composition of photos of men executed by death penalty and nooses near their photos during the protest against executions in Iran organized by activists of the National Council of Resistance of Iran in Rome. Some representatives of the Iranian community from Rome and its surroundings demonstrated to raise public awareness against the capital executions of political prisoners in Iran. According to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), in the days surrounding the World Day against the Death Penalty, seven death sentences were carried out in Iran. 267 executions were carried out under Pezeshkian's leadership. The NCRI is a political organization founded in 1981, linked to the anti-theocratic People's Mojahedin Party of Iran and describes itself as a broad coalition of five opposition organizations and parties. Iranian diplomat Maryam Rajavi is the chairwoman of the NCRI.
