Hundreds of drones malfunction and fall from sky at show in China
Hundreds of drones malfunctioned and fell from the sky during a show in China.
Unmanned aerial vehicles were used for a fireworks show at the Cai Guoqiang Contemporary Art Center in Quanzhou, Fujian on December 8.
However, the devices plummeted into the water during the breathtaking display.
Footage shows the drones hovering in the air with pyrotechnics attached to them. Vibrant red sparks can be seen illuminating the sky.
Moments later, the aircraft crashed into the water.
Local media reported that no one was injured in the incident.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the event.
Drones can crash due to technical malfunctions, pilot error, or environmental factors.
