Los Angeles, United States - December 16, 2024 12/16/2024 09:40 pm (GMT-0800) HUNTINGTON PARK, Calif. – The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau is currently assisting the Huntington Park Police Department in a shooting death investigation. A shooting occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m. Monday in the 3900 block of East 60th Street in the city of Huntington Park, where a female adult was pronounced deceased at the scene by firefighters and paramedics, according to the LASD. A KNN photojournalist at the scene observed a pickup truck with a bullet hole in the front windshield. According to information gathered at the scene, there was also a second location related to the incident, with a second person found injured at a Jiffy Market ˾ Liquor store in the 4000 block of Slauson Avenue in the city of Maywood, just two blocks from the fatal shooting. Huntington Park PD was parked outside of the liquor store. There is no additional information available at this time.
