Volunteer spectator rammed by bull at a Christmas bull riding show
This is the shocking moment a female spectator was repeatedly rammed by a bull at a Christmas show.
Angelica Altamirano, 26, was visiting her family in Morelos, Mexico, for Christmas two years ago when she attended a tumultuous bull riding show.
During the interval, the host asked for a male and female spectator to get in the arena and give it a go for a prize of £78 ($2K pesos) and a six pack of beer.
After raising the prize to £194 ($5K pesos), a woman volunteered and entered the arena.
But the show quickly got out of hand when the bull took her by surprise and rammed her up against the railing.
The woman was pulled out of the arena by nearby spectators and was taken away in an ambulance, having sustained minor injuries.
Angelica, a project office manager based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, said: "I was so shocked."
"I had considered volunteering myself especially as the prize was going up so I'm just glad I didn't!"
"I saw her get up and walk to the ambulance so I knew she wasn't too badly hurt, which made me feel better."
"And the host kept reaffirming that she would get her prize considering what she'd gone through to get it!"
