Gaza Strip - December 12, 2024 The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 45,097, with 107,244 others injured, the Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement on Wednesday. During the past 24 hours, the Israeli military killed 38 people and wounded 203 others in Gaza, according to the statement. At least 10 people were killed, and a number of others wounded in an Israeli strike on a residential house near the Kamal Adwan Hospital, one of only three hospitals still operational in northern Gaza, on Tuesday night, according to local health workers. The third floor of the hospital caught fire as a result of Israeli drone attacks, according to a statement issued by the Kamal Adwan Hospital. The hospital's president, citing survivors and witnesses, said that some victims are still trapped under the rubble.
