STORYLINE:

On the day before the Winter Solstice, international students at Xi'an Railway Vocational and Technical Institute learned about Chinese traditions and made dumplings.

Through hands-on activities, they experienced the charm of Chinese culture and strengthened cultural exchange.

"When we started learning Chinese, teachers taught us about each festival and explained clearly the Chinese culture behind it and how these festivals originated. Teachers also taught us how to make dumplings, and I really like it."

"It's the first time I learned about this kind of festival in China. It's really important for us to learn about these traditions here in China. And these activities help us feel happier, because sometimes you're far away from your family and you miss them. So it's really good for us to make this and to learn about the culture."
