Severe weather swept through Cypress, Texas, on Christmas Eve, leaving residents grappling with intense storms.
According to local resident Jason R., a tornado warning was issued at approximately 2:45 p.m. CST. Although the warning was lifted around 3:00 p.m., the community of Towne Lake was hit by a powerful storm just 15 minutes later. Golf ball-sized hail, heavy rain, and strong winds battered the area for 20-30 minutes.
The National Weather Service has warned of isolated strong storms continuing through the night across the Houston area. Residents are urged to stay alert and take precautions as severe weather conditions persist.
