A tense situation unfolded in Nakrod, under the Churah Assembly constituency of Chamba district, on December 9 when a moving car suddenly slipped and ended up hanging precariously off the edge of a hillside.

According to locals, the incident occurred around noon. Fortunately, several people noticed the car just as it began to slide. Acting quickly, a group of Good Samaritans — including local residents and nearby shopkeepers — rushed to the spot and began pulling the vehicle back to safety.

Working together, they continued tugging the car until it was fully back on the road. Thanks to their swift action and teamwork, a major accident was averted in Nakrod, and the vehicle was recovered without any reported injuries.
