Furious foootball fans clash at train station in Malaysia
Furious football fans clashed at a train station in Malaysia after a game.
Supporters were seen vandalising the train as passengers cowered inside in Kuala Lumpur on December 20.
Footage shows the chaotic scenes on the platform where the alleged sports fans shouted and threw objects onto the carriage at the Bandar Tasik Selatan.
They kicked the doors, and some passengers kicked back through the gap in the doors.
Signs were thrown, including a metal trash bun, before officers arrived to intervene and control the situation.
It came following a match at the Asean Cup at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, where the Malaysia v Singapore game ended in a goalless draw.
A shocked passenger watching from the station's upper floors said: 'I stumbled upon Malaysian football fans raging in the train station. They were so weird, they should calm down, it's just football.
'Hitting public transport over losing a game is infuriating. That was not your property to begin with, and staging a riot over it is nonsense.'
The men were allegedly fans of the Malaysian team, which was knocked out of the AFF Cup after a goalless draw against Singapore.
