Once such effort is the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, led by Chinese tech giant Huawei. The space allows auto enterprises to share resources and reduce costs, which enhances their overall market competitiveness. [Sound_bite] Yu Chengdong, Executive Director, Huawei: "Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance has significantly enhanced the intelligence of automobile companies, achieving industry-leading standards in smart cockpits, smart driving, smart control and smart networking." [Voice_over] Chinese auto companies are also advancing partnerships with foreign firms. The state-owned SAIC Motor and Germany's Volkswagen, have just announced plans to continue their 40-year collaboration until 2040.
