On 4 January 2025, a statue honouring the legendary musician Rory Gallagher was unveiled outside the Ulster Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The statue, located on Bedford Street, pays tribute to Gallagher, who frequently performed during the Troubles in the province, bringing music and hope to many during challenging times.

The statue draws inspiration from the iconic 1972 Melody Maker magazine cover, which captured Gallagher onstage at the Ulster Hall. The artwork was created by Anto Brennan, Jessica Checkley, and David O'Brien of Bronze Art Ireland, renowned for their expertise in bronze sculptures.
