Les Sables-d'Olonne, France - January 14, 2025 Frenchman Charlie Dalin has won the Vendée Globe solo round-the-world race and set a new record for the event, finishing in 64 days, 19 hours, 22 minutes and 49 seconds. Dalin arrived this morning at the port of Les Sables-d'Olonne, on the French Atlantic coast, aboard the Macif Santé Prévoyance and has far surpassed the previous best time set in 2016 by Armel le Cléac'h, with 74 days and 3 hours.
