Chinese cat stands on turtle to drink water
On December 22, 2024, in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, a video captured a humorous and slightly mischievous moment involving a cat and a turtle.
The footage shows a small cat leaning over a tank to drink water, but instead of standing on the floor, the cat placed its front paws directly on the turtle’s shell. The poor turtle appeared helpless as the cat comfortably balanced on its back to access the water.
Ironically, the cat ignored its own water bowl and chose to drink from the turtle's tank, prompting Chinese viewers to joke about cats’ infamous preference for water sources they aren't supposed to drink from.
