Small turtle rides on friend's back at zoo in Japan
This is the amusing moment a small turtle rode on its friend's back at a zoo in Japan.
Footage shows the juvenile reptile perched on top of its companion inside their enclosure in Mie Prefecture on October 22.
Moments later, the larger turtle ambled onto a platform, accidentally causing both to fall into the water. This prompted the pair to dive and swim together.
Turtles are solitary creatures, spending much of their time swimming, basking, and foraging alone, though they don't mind having other turtles around.
