At the opening meeting of the third session of the 14th Hubei Provincial People's Congress, nearly 30 foreign guests were invited to attend as observers.

SOUNDBITE 1 (English): NICOLAS CHAPIN, CEO of Topgolf China
"We are planning to work both with government and some local citizens' groups to combine what we do with what happens every year in Wuhan, and try to be part of that Wuhan community."
SOUNDBITE 2 (English): HERNANDES DOS SANTOS MIGUEL, Brazilian faculty member at Hubei University
"I think it's very good to see how Hubei is developing. Not only big cities, but also in small cities like those here.
One of the topics that impressed me the most is health care.
So now, most of the people, they have access to health care within 35 minutes. In some areas within 12 minutes, which is very good. Also transportation, especially coming from Brazil, now we have lots of Chinese companies investing in Brazilian transportation, but I believe there are still a lot of aspects Brazil and China can cooperate (in). And seeing how Hubei, how Wuhan, is doing great in this aspect really impressed me."
