Barcelona, Spain - January 21, 2025 The Sagrera Tower air-raid shelter in Barcelona has been opened to the public to show the historical memory of the city from a social and cultural point of view, as it is a very well preserved subway space where the neighbors went during the bombings of the Spanish Civil War. Its good state of preservation allows us to know the structure and use of this shelter. It is 88 meters long and 1.20 meters high in which you can see the latrines, ventilation shafts, original light bulbs and graffiti of children's drawings and writings made during the enclosure.
