Syria's interim government received an official delegation from Belarus on Thursday, state news agency SANA reported.
Ahmed al-Sharaa, Syria's de facto leader, and Intelligence Chief Anas Khattab held talks with a delegation from Belarus, led by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, according to a brief statement from Syrian authorities.
The meeting comes as Damascus seeks broader engagement with international partners following the recent political transition in December 2024.
