US, Los Angeles: Gorman Icy Conditions Prompt Road Closures
Los Angeles, United States - January 27, 2025 01/27/2025 02:00 am (GMT-0800) GORMAN, Calif. – Snow and ice forced the California Highway Patrol to close all northbound lanes of the I-5 at Gorman School Road. CHP forced all traffic off and back onto the south side to return to Los Angeles County.There were several semi-trucks and vehicles stuck on the icy roads. Snow continues to fall in the area, and it is unclear when the I-5 will re-open. According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27.
