Kind friends helped a snowboarding beginner to take the perfect money shot - without him even moving.

Footage shows the playful tourists helping their extreme sports newbie to stage the action picture from his winter holiday.

One of them held the phone camera while three others sprayed snow powder towards the first-timer who did his best to bend backwards dramatically on the equipment.

They gave him instructions until they were satisfied and took the perfect picture for a trip souvenir.

It gave the appearance he was carving up the fresh powder with an adrenaline-pumping downhill turn in Niigata Prefecture, Japan on January 16.

Their friend Borvorn Thumviriyarak said: 'We had so much fun at the ski resort. Unfortunately, none of us are professionals so those were the silly things we did to bring home great photos.'
