Homes built on 50ft high concrete stilts in gorge in the Philippines
Tourists were stunned to see homes built on 50ft high concrete stilts in a gorge in the Philippines.
Aerial footage, captured by Jones Marvinton Panganiban, shows the towering structures elevated on concrete foundations along a sloped terrain in Baguio City on August 25.
Lush greenery surrounds the substructure, where two floors of bare framework support the houses in North Sanitary Camp.
Residents said the houses withstood the powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Luzon on July 16, 1990.
