Garden eels resemble plants swaying underwater in Bali sea
Garden eels looked like plants swaying underwater at a diving site in Bali.
Footage shows the marine animals with their bottom end buried in the seabed soil while their heads reached upwards in Indonesia on January 15.
They moved with the current looking like grass when the divers from Tulamben Dive group spotted them.
Garden eels are small, slender eels that live in colonies on the sandy bottoms of warm ocean waters. They are named for their habit of anchoring themselves in the sand, resembling a garden of swaying plants.
