A car slammed into a height-restriction pillar after zigzagging across a snow-covered bridge.

CCTV footage shows the skidding Lada speeding over the bridge above the Kuta River in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia, on November 10.

The out-of-control vehicle can be seen veering dangerously close to the metal barrier before crashing into the frame at the end of the bridge.

The car's front was left damaged from the impact, with smoke rising from the engine bay.

Local media reported that the driver did not sustain any injuries.

The Irkutsk Region traffic police reminded motorists to take extra care during the winter period, avoid sudden manoeuvres, maintain a safe distance, and keep within the speed limit.
