STORYLINE:
Yan'an International Ski Resort in northwest China's Shaanxi Province is drawing visitors from across the country as Chinese citizens' enthusiasm for winter sports continues to grow.
The ski resort officially opened its 2024-25 season on December 14 of last year. This winter, the resort features upgrades to enhance the skiing experience.
Since the start of the 2024-2025 ski season, the resort has welcomed over 23,000 visitors has welcomed over 23,000 visitors, an increase of more than 6,000 compared to the same period last year.
The surge in tourism has also boosted revenue, generating over 2.2 million yuan (over 301,000 U.S. dollars).
