Atlanta, United States - February 08, 2025 A woman and man were arrested on February 8, 2025, after allegedly stealing nearly $40,000 worth of Lululemon merchandise from a store on Howell Mill Road NW. At around 4:06 PM, officers responded to a report of active shoplifters at the Lululemon location. Store employees reported seeing a woman in gray stealing several items. Upon entering the store, officers observed the woman attempting to leave but quickly gave chase, apprehending her outside. While assisting officers observed a suspicious vehicle speeding away, they followed and conducted a traffic stop, apprehending the male driver. A search of the vehicle revealed Lululemon items with price tags and hangers still attached, along with a shopping bag lined with materials designed to bypass theft detection. The stolen clothing, 440 items in total, was valued at $38,709.59. The suspects, identified as Jennifer Carolina Montano Bautista, 35, and Robert Baez, 34, were arrested and transported to the Fulton County Jail.
