SOUNDBITE (English): TEDESCO GIANVINCENZO, Italian restaurant owner in Foshan, China's Guangdong
" I come from a small city in Italy. I came to China in 2014, when I received this email asking me if I was interested in teaching Italian food.

As you can see here there are several manufactures that I made by myself like the Colosseum, the ropes, and the beautification of the ceiling. You could find the same kind of decoration on any temple in Greece or Rome. This is a very nice link between the two cultures.

I think that Foshan is a really inclusive city for foreigners. And you can find that people from many countries settling down here in Foshan just because Foshan offers the cultural social environment for the foreigners. I think this restaurant fulfills my fantasy of a happy life. Although I'm still single, I never feel alone. I've become good friends with guests from all over the world.

I always believe that when you go to a new place not only get involved, you have to embrace the local culture and immerse yourself in the charm of the city. Thanks to the city representing a bridge between different cultures and people, I hope my restaurant will become like a bridge between different cultures so that more people can enjoy the inclusiveness, the brilliant atmosphere of this vibrant city."
