Bridge collapses after overloaded dump truck passes in Isabela, Philippines
On February 28, 2025, in Isabela, Philippines, @joey.dalafu.2024 shared a video of a collapsed bridge. In the video, a van and a dump truck are seen stuck in the wreckage. The author stated that the bridge took 10 years to complete but was only in use for two months before it collapsed. The bridge gave way after a dump truck carrying boulders, with an estimated gross vehicle weight of about 102 tons, passed over it. Reports said at least six people were injured in the incident, while local authorities advised motorists to take alternative routes.
